We also thought back to the celebrations we held for The Queen's Jubilee. We then discussed what will change from a new King to new words to The National Anthem. We used our learning on 'The Colour Monster' to talk about how we felt. In our first 'Welly Wednesday' of the year we then went out to the woodland area and made emotion faces from natural materials.
6.9.22 - We have some reading buddies who have joined us in our reading corner. They like nothing more than to be read too.
5.9.22 - On our first morning back we played 'Summer Holiday Bingo' where we had to walk around the room and find the name of our friends to go in each box on our bingo boards. Categories included someone who had lost a tooth, been on an aeroplane and baked cakes. It gave us a good opportunity to talk to each other to find out what everyone had been up to over the summer.
