Year 4 mock wedding
The children were fantastic as we found out firsthand what was involved in a marriage ceremony.
As part of the Y4 RE unit on 'How people mark significant events of life', they had a mock wedding up at the methodist church. Thank you to Reverend Chris for holding the ceremony and talking the children through what happens in a wedding service, to Ruth Pemberthy for playing the organ and Donna for the fantastic photos . The children were all amazing and dressed up for the occasion. The speeches during the reception were great too.
