  • School Council tree planting.

    Fri 30 Apr 2021

The School council have been planting trees around the school field today following a successful application to the Woodland Trust. In the Autumn  term they had done a whole school survey to gather children's opinion of which sort of trees they should apply for. The winning vote was for trees that would attract wildlife and provide some shade so they planted Silver Birch, Rowan and Wild Cherry. A big thank you goes to Mrs Wonnacott for helping the children with the planting.

  • The Big Pedal

    Fri 30 Apr 2021

Children from across all classes school have been getting to school through their own steam as part of the national Big Pedal scheme.

There have been a whopping 57 bike rides, 45 scoots and 445 walkers making their way into school in one week.
