    They did it!!

Seven brave people headed to Dunkerswell this morning hoping the cloud would clear. Finally the cloud cleared and the sun came out and at around 4:30  the first jumpers stepped onto the plane. Donna, Jo, Louise, Will, Gavin, Zoe and Pete all successfully jumped from either 10,000 or 15,000 ft.

We are so proud of you all. (Other photos will follow in the PTFA page.)

  • Thank you and good bye to Mrs Boother.

    Sat 06 Apr 2019

What an emotional day! The children and staff got together for a very entertaining afternoon assembly, to say thank you and good bye to Mrs Boother. After 11 years at Hatherleigh school, working tirelessly to inspire, motivate and help children to grow, how else could we say thank you. There were songs, poems, stories, speeches and even a little bit of dressing up! The end of Mrs Boother's time as Head Teacher was fittingly marked with the ringing of the school bell too.

A huge number of children and adults then gathered for a fantastic disco after school. We all wish Mrs Boother the very best for everything that she goes on to do and hopefully plenty of sunshine to enjoy while she takes a well-earned break.

Thank you.

  • Goodbye to Miss Radbourne and Miss Hunter

    Fri 22 Mar 2019
Today was Miss Radbourne and Miss Hunter's last day. They have worked extremely hard this term teaching in year 3 and year 2 and provided lots of exciting learning opportunities for the children. It would not have been right to send them off to their next school without one of the wonderful Hatherleigh Tea Towels. We wish them all the best in their next school.
