State funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Dear Parent/Carer

The Royal Household has announced that the State funeral of Her Majesty Queen    Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19th September 2022.

The DfE has confirmed this day will be a bank holiday and settings including schools and colleges that are normally closed on a bank holiday should close as a mark of respect.

Therefore, Hatherleigh Community Primary School will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September2022.
